O videodocumentário aborda a história da radioamadora Alda Schlemm Niemeyer e sua importante atuação na enchente de 1983, uma das mais graves da história de Blumenau. O objetivo do vídeo é mostrar como esta mulher atuou juntamente com o radioamadorismo em benefício dos blumenauenses atingidos. Porém, não se pode tratar da sua vivência na enchente sem antes mostrar a sua história de superação, que certamente agregou em sua forte atuação. Este videodocumentário reúne depoimentos de personagens que estiveram com a "vovó" Alda desde 1983 e até hoje fazem questão de seu convívio. The video documentary covers the history of radio amateur Alda Schlemm Niemeyer and her important performance in the 1983 flood, one of the most serious in the history of Blumenau. The purpose of the video is to show how this woman worked together with radio amateurs for the benefit of the affected people from Blumenau. However, you cannot deal with your experience in the flood without first showing your history of overcoming, which certainly added to your strong performance. This video documentary gathers testimonials from characters who have been with "grandma" Alda since 1983 and are still keen to live with her today.
